I Voted...

So don't blame me.

I don't know the outcome of the election yet, but the guilty feeling if my candidate doesn't win at least won't come because I did what I could. And if my candidate wins, I will know that I helped in that.

Did you vote?

It's been so long since I've updated. Lots to say, but most importantly...BOTH of my sisters are pregnant with me now!! Lindsay is due 3 1/2 weeks after me on May 14th, and Jamie is due on the 4th of July. Isn't that patriotic of her? It's really exciting to be pregnant together. My mom is beside herself, she can't even talk about having 3 grandchildren within 3 months without bawling. Don't get her started on picture ops either, that's a major cry button for her.

We had a great Halloween. Caleb was Darth Vader. He was the cutest Darth Vader ever and he loved his "Lightsaver". The second picture is of him trying to fit a sucker between his fake vampire teeth...didn't work so well.

I'm about 17 weeks along in my pregnancy. Everything is going really well so far. I'm feeling much better than I did in the first trimester. We find out if we're having a boy or a girl on November 18th. We are so excited! Chris took the whole day off work, mostly because after the appointment I wanted us to come up with a great way to tell my family at dinner. Any suggestions (the four of you who read this ;))??

Alright, hope you all have a good Election Day, whatever the outcome. I might post sooner next time, never know! :)

Are Two Blogs Necessary?

I don't know the answer to that. It seems like I can never find enough to talk about as it is with one blog (I have a private blog on another website), so why do I have two? Dunno. Because this one is cute, maybe. Yeah, I'm probably that shallow...about blogs at least. I'll try to write interesting things but I'm already failing miserably.

My sister has a very entertaining blog, so if you want an interesting read I suggest her page.

For now I will tell you that I have a very sick little boy who woke up coughing not long ago. He's 4 1/2 and when he has a sore throat/cough, he usually wakes up FREAKING out therefore aggitating his cough making him freak out more. It usually takes 10 minutes to calm him down. This is a fun process of "You're okay, just breathe....stop crying and flailing your arms..." He coughed just a few times today that sounded harmless enough so when he said "I'm getting sick, Mom", I replied "No, you're not. A cough or two doesn't mean you're sick." I have been proved wrong. But better to under-react than over-react, right? Hm. That's a fine line. Anyway, he's had his medicine and is sound asleep in his bed. I hope it lasts until the morning.

Speaking of sleep, I am a lazy bum these days. Caleb will usually come in around 8-8:30 and want me to come downstairs and get him breakfast. In the meantime, he goes downstairs and turns the TV on (the night before we set the cable box for Nickolodeon, no channel-changing required--we're smart/dumb people). While he watches Dora, or whatever is on, I, unknowingly, fall back asleep until I have an exasperated boy come back in and say "Aren't you going to get up? I've watched 2 shows already!" Nice huh? I wish I more willpower over these pregnancy symptoms. It is SO hard to get out of bed these days! I think I can, I think I can...

For the three people who read this, I hope it was entertaining. ;)

April is the perfect month.

I knew that as soon as I named my blog "C Times Three", I'd soon have to make it "C Times Four" which doesn't have that same ring to it. I'm not very far along (7 weeks), but I am expecting our second child in April. This has been a long time coming and we are SO excited! We've prayed so much for this baby and it seems the Lord has finally said "Okay, it's time."

Caleb, before I even got pregnant, decided that his next brother or sister would be called Pablo. Maybe he thinks the baby will be a blue penguin and come out singing catchy songs...(If you have a preschooler, you know I'm talking about "The Backyardigans".) Not only will the baby's first name be Pablo, but it now has a middle name: Strong. So please pray for Pablo Strong and hope the name speaks to this embryo's character.

Off to bed I go.

Might as well...

My twin sister loves her blog on here so I thought I would give it a try. I have an old one on here but decided it would be easier to just start over. I hadn't updated that old one for about a year. This is just the first attempt. Believe me, I'll have more to say in the future. :)
